Vintage Esterbrook Desk Fountain Pen Set in Box w/ Instructions NICE

The box is a little bit dirty and has some wear but it still holds the set nicely.
·
The black base is square with rounded corners and it feels like a thick heavy glass but I’m not sure if it is glass or stone or an acrylic but it is really nice.
The bottom has felt to protect your desk surface.
The base is approx. 3 ⅞” square at the top x ¾” tall not including the pen holder.

The silver tone metal pen holder swivels for ease of access.
·
The two piece black pen is used but is still in good condition.
Esterbook and Made in U.S.A. are on the pen but it’s hard to see.
It is on the part that holds the nib right above where it screws onto the narrower part.
When assembled with the nib, the pen is approx. 7” long.

The nib in the pen has some ink on it but it still looks fit for use.
It is Esterbrook number 9668, which according to the instruction paper is for general writing.

There is an extra nib that looks unused.
It is Esterbrook number 9556 which is not designated on the paper.

The instruction sheet explains hot to fill your pen, replace the point, keep it clean and remove the cap.
·
The pen and extra nib are in the original small Esterbrook box and the whole set is in another Esterbrook box.
·
A very nice classic item for any office with vintage or modern décor.
