    Nib:  1555 Fine nib, marketed to secretaries in the 50s who "took shorthand."  Remember that?  Gregg was the method.

    Condition:  Excellent vintage condition.  The black Esties are not mottled, so they show more flaws.  But this one is a beauty, showing very little wear.
    The lever is nice and springy.  The bladder is soft and supple (new one was installed).  This pen is guaranteed to write.
    This will be a great work horse for you, or look nice in your Esterbrook collection.
