RESTORED - Esterbrook J Fountain Pen - Dubonnet Red -EXCELLENT Stubby 9668 M Nib

Description

I bought this pen restored in late 2019...
It's your typical Estie J, 'cept for TWO things:
a) There is a repaired crack on the cap, (last photo). It is stable.
b) The nib is PHENOMENAL. It writes like a Pelikan M400, (a wet writer that is buttery smooth, perfect for fast cursive) but 'stubby'. I would recommend a 'drier' ink for this nib if you intend on using this pen with crappy paper.
Besides that, it in perfectly presentable condition, (cap jewels are good and so is the logo imprint on the barrel) and would make for a great daily writer... Just don't post the pen.
I decided to let it go as I find it a tad bit short for my preference.
The pen will be shipped in a PVC tube to ensure that it comes safely to you.
