    This rare 1950s Danish "Shorts" litho hinged tobacco tin, measuring 1/2" x 2 3/4" x 4 1/4", in good condition with no rust, some small creases on the lid and some age related paint chips and scratches.  The hinge is in excellent working order.  There are two small pieces of tax stamp.  This very attractive gold and white tin features red and black lettering advertising the "Shorts" brand of American flake cut tobacco.  The tobacco was manufactured by the Pete Brothers Tobacco Company who also made high quality pipes5
