    Description

    This is an Esterbrook SJ demonstrator fountain pen that was made in the USA in the 1950s.
    It is near mint and unused.
    It is a transparent barrel with a black cap.
    It has not been serviced.
    I think some of these were made to test different ways to machine the barrel.
    There are some machine marks on the inside.
    Maybe it was just a "second".
    The barrel is slightly yellowed from age.
    No cracks or crazing.
    15-20 years ago, I purchased a lot of Esterbrook material that came from the manager of the Esterbrook repair center.
    I am sifting through it now and sorting it out.
    I have some rare pieces that I will be listing.
